POEM FOR LILLI

God smiled
and gifted the world
with a little girl
a sweet feminine soul
wrapped in pink
grey eyes
so intelligent
seeking a reality
behind mine.

God laughed
and graced the world
with a brand new soul
a soft, angelic child
dancing in pink
small hands
so trusting
grasping onto
my own.

God sighed
and breathed into the world
new life
a loving spirit
bathed in pink
sweet presence
simply reminding me
that all love
is mine.
